Chris Walker hired by UK as the Graduate Assistant Coach

Chris Andrew Walker a former Texas A&M basketball player was hired at Kentucky by head men's basketball coach Billy Gillispie.Walker will be the graduate assistant coach next year for Kentucky.




Coach Gillispie's comment on Walker:

“Chris is probably the worst player who is the most important ingredient on a team, and that’s not being disrespectful. He was the toughest guy in the league last year. His ability is a little short, but his leadership, toughness, courage and passion are unsurpassed. Those are the greatest things anybody could have as far as helping a team win.” --Billy Gillispie
