My thoughts on Hamga's Guardian's Comments!

After reading this article in the Courier-Journal. It's beginning to sound to me like Hamga's guardian has his own agenda for Hamga and it doesn't include UK! I don't understand Mark Adams getting this upset over postings on Hamga's My Space. We all know that there is no way to identify the individuals and their motives for posting on Hagma's My Space.

Look, Adams knows that whether it's My Space or various internet school web sites, there are always a few over zealous fans who get carried away. Adams knows full well that there is no way UK or any school can control comments from fans or, very likely, individuals from other schools trying to make UK look bad.

One would hope that recruits and those advising them would make their decision regarding a school based on the following.....

  1. Their relationship and opinion of the coaching staff
  2. Opportunity to play
  3. Relationship with players
  4. Facilities
  5. Academics
  6. Location of school

.....well, I could add others, but you get the idea.

The point being.....why would any recruit base his decision on attending a school because some overzealous fans or unknown individuals made comments on My Space or other web sites!

For me, the fact that Adams has made such a big deal about the postings on My Space tells me that he is using this to steer Hamga to New Mexico or another school!

Whatever importance any recruit gives My Space.......it is still very important that any UK fan making such postings....please stop, as it could get UK in trouble with the NCAA!
