Remember this from now on about UK's recruiting...

Under the Tubby regime, we were used to classifying guys for you as option A,B or C, to give you an idea of what to expect when we struck out on the guys we were covering and you were expecting to end up in Lexington. More often than not, we were disappointed, and settled for the lower tier guys in terms of the recruiting rankings and evaluators.

"Not anymore!"

With Billy Clyde, every position is two to three guys deep that are considered option A type guys. Therefore, when we miss on one of these guys, it shouldn't discourage you in the least. The mutual interest we are finally receiving from the upper eschelon recruits is utterly mind blowing these days. If recruiting had been handled half this effectively in the past 10 years, we would likely be sitting on # 9 and looking to 10. Seriously.

The days where we totally strike out for what we NEED is over. It's OVER!

If a guy like Singletary goes to Tennessee (likely) then yeah, it would have been real nice to have him here, but how about the other "A" recruits that have offers and more interest in UK right behind him.

Get used to the feeling of being IN with most every big time recruit. Coach Clyde wasn't joking when he said he wanted the tallest, fastest, most athletic, etc players in the country at UK. He's flying his rear off all over the country and making sure UK is at the top of the list for every recruit that is considered a top recruit for an elite school.

We are back in it with Clyde. In a few recruiting classes alone, he'll have us at a whole other level guys. A whole other level. Like I always say - sit back and enjoy the new ride, because I'm certain this ride won't leave you buying a new television, or repairing the holes you put in the drywall in your basement. ;D
