2012 Kentucky signee Alex Poythress is one of 13 players placed on the watch list for the Naismith High School Player of the Year award. Poythress is averaging 30 points, 16 rebounds, and five blocks per game this season for undefeated Northeast High School in Clarksville, Tennessee.
UK prospect Shabazz Muhammad is also on the Naismith High School Player of the Year award watch list.
